    Hello,

Instilling a belief in natural rights of man

    Explanation:

The Enlightenment values were reasons, science, progress, liberty and toleration. They explained the mindset of the enlightenment thinkers. The United States government is established in ideas that the government should practice some restrictions to achieve the protection of peoples rights and liberty. These are ideas of limited government that focus on natural rights, social contract, sovereignty of the people and support to a republican system of government. The policies try to come up with ways of safeguarding the natural rights of people without giving the government excess powers over the people. If natural rights is one's rights to life, liberty and property, then government intervention with policies to safeguard some of these rights is contradicting the Enlightenment definition of natural rights.

    Best of Luck.

The answer to this question would be enlightenment demonstrated a necessity for equality even though the U. S. government would continue to allow some people to have access to/keep slaves

    Explanation:

The reason this is is due to the fact that the U. S. fought wanted independents and their rights, they still denied slaves their basic human rights ... or any rights whatsoever.
