Taken as a whole, the Articles of Confederation did not establish a strong national government, despite rules, such as those in Article VI, denying states certain powers. Give an example of a power granted to Congress that could have been strengthened, thereby creating a stronger national government.

    The government was able to request money from the people for things the government needed but they could not enforce these requests so the government overall had little money and no effective way to get it
