Treaty with France description and event?

The Treaty of Alliance with France was signed on February 6, 1778, creating a military alliance between the United States and France against Great Britain, 20 years after they were signed, Congress annulled both of these treaties on July 7, 1798, during the height of the so-called Quasi-War with France.
