The development of the peoples is a process of expansion of the real freedoms enjoyed by individuals, moving away from a vision that associates development with the simple growth of GDP, personal income, industrialization or technological advances.

The process of industrialization left in sight the difficulties of the majority of the population, problems of housing, food and problems in the field of work such as working hours and working conditions and environment. This situation brought about resounding changes in society, they were reflected in improvements in the area of health and life of the perosnas. While many bad situations did not change, even others were aggravated, in general a positive change was seen.
