Conrad of Megenberg was a German writer and scholar. He was one of the most productive writers in the fourteenth century. He wrote at least thirty books in which he exhibited himself as strong follower of Pope Francis who was the head of the Catholic Church, a rival of the beliefs of William of Ockham who was a philosopher and a strict detractor of the moral failings of his age and of the people investing in religious duties in a catholic church. His most famous book which was extremely well written was "Buch der Natur'. He used a latin book as a reference. He finished his book with substantial liberation. He put his own thoughts and introduced some more observations. Some rectifications were also made in order to make his writing more informative and engaging.
