How did manufacturers contributed to the economic slowdown that led to the Great Depression?

    before the Great Depression everyone was buying so much stuff so businesses made more stuff that was sold when the Great Depression started they kept on doing this but no one was buying their product so business stopped and companies went down. then nobody had any jobs or money.
