    The most fertile region throuought the colonies, "The Breadbasket of America" aka "The Mid Athlantic Colonies", famous for their prairies and grain based agriculture due their fertile land and soil, has been fundamental in the distribution of vital crops such as wheat, corn and grains like rye, for the development of the rest of the colonies; the great weather around the region made it suitable for the develeopment of such crops and the region in general.

    The Crops in the Southern Colonies were tobacco, indigo, cotton, and rice. The most popular crop was tobacco. The Jamestown colonists had grown tobacco originally, and tobacco. The Middle Colonies grew grains such as Wheat, Rye, Oats, Barley, and Corn.
