Practice: Write a divergent view of the following statement.

Clalm (Thesis Statement) The government should invest in the research and use of solar energy as an alternative to the use of fossll fuels.

The government should actually stop forcing people to use the energy sources that they want them to use.

The problem with the government is that they want to dictate how the market is supposed to work when it should be 100% free to adapt to the consumers and their needs. That's always the way that it works best.

If the government uses its money to invest in alternate sources of energy, it is not in competition with anyone nor is it afraid of spending incorrectly the money (which could lead a company to bankruptcy).

When the private sector does such a bet, they know that they have to do their best to be effective and cheap because they have competition. That is, if the government is not artificially altering the way the free market works, which it does a lot.
