    There were some influences of the American Revolution in South America, for example:

    Revolutions in South America were led by native born men of European background. Independence came to Spanish, Portuguese and Spanish colonies Slaves in Haiti rebelled, abolishing slavery and wining independence Simon Bolivar in the 1920's tried to create a Federal constitution similar to the one of the US but failed due to the differences among Latin American people.
