    Answer:D happiness

Explanation:The Doctrine of Ethos states that music plays a role in our emotions and character through certain ethics. This doctrine is divided into scales of particular characteristics. One of these scales is characterized by rage or sadness, the other one characterized by happiness so according to this doctrine music can inspire such emotions. It also suggested that is can even make one mind weak. This doctrine is based on Greek music, which Greeks people studied intensively.

Some argue with this doctrine by suggesting that people choose music according to the mood they are experiencing at a particular moment so this means the mood influence their choice of music not the the music changes their mood.

However it is also true that some people do use music to create a certain mood such as a relaxing music after a long stressful day.
