    The war between the US and Great Britain, in 1812, after its end, brought a period of two decades of peace between the two countries. Prior to the war, the British created difficulties, by blocking American Expansion, using the Natives. After the war, there was a boost of the industry and the construction of Erie Canal, promoting comercial links.
