Why was the buffalo such an important part of Plains Indians' lives? What led to the buffalo being decimated, and how did it affect Plains Indians? Explain.

    The buffalo were very important to the Plains Indians because they used them for food, clothing, and sometimes shelters. The buffalo were highly hunted and when they got scarce the Indians had to find other things to use for everyday resources because they relied on the buffalo.
