African Independence movements consisted of organized rebellions against the colonial rule of European countries. The motivations these movements had were political, as they believed that that colonial rule was mismanaging the territories. On the other hand, the Arab-Israeli conflict is motivated by religious means. Israelis, which are of Jewish religion, believe the land they live in is the one God granted them. However, Palestinians, who are Muslims, believe that Israelis are illegally occupying the land and see them as a menace to the well-being of all of the region.
