    The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a fitting memorial to President Kennedy for it became law less than a year after President John F. kennedy's assassination.

    Moreover, this law has the longest filibuster in the U. S Senate history for it created modern America where legal equality for blacks and whites was imposed.
