    Answer: Increased wealth and interest in other cultures

    Explanation: The Renaissance started in Florence, Italy; due to a large population of wealthy individuals that were able to have disposable income; they spent that money on art. Since people were beginning to spend large sums of money on art, more people became artists and created new art pieces that fueled their culture. In addition to this, different cultures began to interact more. The Gutenberg printing press, although invented in 1440, still had a part in the continuation of the renaissance as it allowed for texts to be created at a more rapid rate.
