It is considered that Hinduism is one of the religions that has more followers in the world. It started in India and has spread to almost every nation on earth. Unlike the religions mentioned above, Hinduism is pantheistic because it sees God in all things and therefore reveres all forms of life; therefore violence against animals is avoided and the cow is considered a sacred animal; many are vegetarians because of the idea presented above, and polytheist because of the belief in numerous gods; recognizes the existence of 330 million gods which are the various manifestations of Brahma, the supreme god. They follow in order of importance Vishnu, the protective god and Siva, the destroyer.

In ancient Greece, people followed a polytheistic religion, that is, they had a belief that encompassed several gods. These, although they were immortal, possessed anthropomorphic characteristics, reflecting attitudes, defects and human qualities. Evil, goodness, strength, weakness, selfishness, revenge and other characteristics were present in the gods, according to the ancient Greeks.

According to Greek civilization, the gods inhabited the top of Mount Olympus, where they decided on the life of mortals. Zeus was the essential, considered the supreme deity of the Greek Pantheon. They also believed that the gods descended from the sacred mountain to relate to their inhabitants. In that sense, the heroes were the children of the gods and lived as ordinary human beings. Each city of ancient Greece possessed a protective god.

The different deities represented the forces of nature or human feelings. Poseidon, for example, was the representative of the seas and Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty. Greek mythology was transmitted orally from father to son and often serves to explain phenomena of nature or convey morals of life. By invading and dominating Greece, the Romans absorbed the Greek Pantheon, modifying only the names of the gods.
