This is the site were the biggest and bloodiest battle took place in Georgia during the American civil war. these battle was fought from the (18 - 20 of September 1863) the battle had over 34000 casualties which made it the bloodiest and biggest battle fought during the civil war in Georgia only second to the battle of Pennsylvania which had 51000 casualties.
