What major problems did european states face in the fourteenth century? how are these problems evident in the history of england, france, and the holy roman empire?

    Biggest problems that were European states facing in the fourteenth century were:

    1. The plague; the plague, also known as the black death, was transferred to Europe from Asia by the people using the trading roots through the Mongol Empire. The plague had devastating effects on the demographics of the continent were millions of people died, and this also caused major problems in every aspect of the ruling and prosper of the states.

    2. Islamic expansion; The Islamic expansion, even though started much earlier, now was threatening Europe from the East, were strong Turkic armies were starting to invade parts of the continent and thus implement Islam over the Christian states. Also, the territory occupied by the Turkish people was an important trading root which made big blows on the economies of the European states.
