I think the people outside the United States who looked to the country as land dedicated to freedom approved the actions against segregation.

Explanation:

First of all, the United States was one of the latest countries to fight racial segregation with laws. As well as with actions, however, they were always liberty and rights supporters, but never equality fighters. Therefore I believe that many countries would support their moves to end racial segregation.
