How is the organization of state government similar to the nation government

    Most states mirror the federal government in that they have a divided system of government with a system of checks of balances.

    For many, if not most states, this looks like a system with a judicial branch, legislative branch, and executive branch. The executive branch is usually the Governor of the State.
