Fortynine state legislatures are bicameral bodies, composed of a State Assembly and an upper house called Senate. The USA also has five non state territories and one federal district with local legislative branches. 5411 State Assembly seats and 1972 Upper house/senate seats which totals to 7383 seats need to be filled.
