The Pequot tribe occupied northeast regions of the United States, in the Connecticut Valley. They also used wampum belts as gifts while conducting trade. Wampum shells were used in trade and jewelry by tribes in the region of New England and Mashantucket, were the Pequot tribe lived.

The Seminole tribe occupied southeast regions of the United States, in areas of Florida. This tribe also commonly ate wild turkey and deer meat. Their staple foods included corn, beans, wild rice but also wild turkey and deer. They would use ther hides and skins for clothes.
