    Their major strenght was the ideal of being independet and the desire to enlarge their territory.

    This made America able to acheive an economical independece, they continued growing and developing new structures of businesses with the cotton, the railroads, and so on.

    A very important fact was the comercialization with China and different countries by using ports from the cities with access to the ocean.

    American society changed their vision, they wanted a future full of possibilities so they made them happen, craftsmen became businessmen, they became manufacturers as well and the idea of factories started to take place in this time.
