    The answer is: solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.

    The quote above was written by Thommas Hobbe. He see that every men has a natural impulse to dominate others and obtain the resources that other possess.

    He believe that if these impulses are left uncontrolled, mankind. are more likely to be uncooperative and kill others in order to easily obtain what we want. This is why he believed in the establishment of strong government.
