One key way where the French and American Indians cooperated with each other in economic terms during the Western Hemisphere prior to 16050 is when a lot of French traders entered the New World, so they could search for animal fur, especially beaver fur. Pelts were sold by Indians in what is now Canada to French traders, wherein they traded the furs for kettles and guns.
