    President George w. bush refuse to support the Kyoto protocol on greenhouse gases because he considered that it would be harmful to the U. S economy. Bush said that observing to the Kyoto treaty on climate change would have hurt the U. S. economy given that it did not allow other big producers to adhere to the protocol
