What did the emergency banking act give president roosevelt the authority to do

    March 9, 1933 the Emergency Banking Act was given to into the hands of President Roosevelt. This act give authority to do stuff with that, Roosevelt decided to make it so it was harder to stabilize problem banks. She even made it national "Bank Day" on March 5th 1933.
