After WWI the US economy takes a tumble downward. Explain why demobilization after World War I lead to a temporary economic downturn?

    It went down because after the war, they had many heavy casualties both allies, U. S civilians, and U. S soldiers. Also they had to pay for the materials to make the tanks, planes, equipment, and bombs.
