    C) Fewer dangers in the West made life easier for settlers there is not a reason people moved west in the late 1800's, because it is a false statement. Life in the west was actually very hard for people and there were many dangers they faced, such as harsh weather, dangerous animals and risky climate, such as tornadoes and these were all issues they knew they would face if they moved out west, but they took this chance to create a potentially better life for themselves and their families.
