    The north should and could have won that battle easily, but a lot of generals that Lincoln wanted to fight for him. Sided with the south. All he was left with was generals who where really pride full and wanted glory. This made careless decisions, and with the south having a poorly trained arm. They got whipped at the battle of bull run, and had to retreat. Which was really unorganized retreat, but the south had poor trained troops so it's not like they took advantage of it. So it is D, north had inexperienced leaders
