What makes the united states east of the mississippi river a good region for agriculture

    Because the river is water so the groung is good for agriculture

    The river can be used as watering crops, bathing, drinking, and for fishing. It is also most likely the soil on that area would be fertile so it would be easier to crop goods and such.
