U. S. response during the early years of World War II

    They were reluctant to enter the war, one because it was a foreign war that didn't really involve them. Two, they were the superpower of the world and didn't want to ruin that. They did however support Britain and France by sending them supplies overseas but they t ried to remain neutral while supplying weapons to Britain and France.
