Why does Castro claim that US leaders oppose the Cuban Revolution so forcefully?

-They believe Castro threatens US security with his powerful military.

-They are scared of the revolutionaries who have power in Cuba.

    The reason why Castro claims that the US leaders oppose the Cuban revolution forcefully was because of the reason that they are afraid that the cuba might inspire other from having to rise against the us domination which is the last choice, in which made them the claims in hopes from preventing this event from having to occur.

    Castro told the Cuban people that the US was afraid of a Cuban Revolution because it would inspire communism in the US. This explanation gave pride to the Cuban revolutionaries and explained why the US was reacting harshly to the revolution. The US placed trade embargoes on Cuba and even moved toward military protections against the new Cuban communist government.
