What are the key compromises and provisions incorporated in the U. S. Constitution?

There were many of them but some of the key ones for the modern times are the electoral college compromise which established how the president would be chosen and the commerce compromise. In the times of the colonies, important ones were also the 3/5ths compromise and the slave trade compromise, which are no longer used today for obvious reasons.
