How were Napoleon's invasion of Russia and hitler's invasion of the Soviet Union similar?

    They both started invasion from Bug river and weren't fully prepared for harsh Russian winter, contrary for example to Polish expedition in 1610 which started near Smolensk and consequently captured Moscow
