Colonial leaders justified their plan to become independent from England by arguing that

A. colonists should have the same freedom of speech as Parliament.

B. the judicial branch of government, not the king, should interpret laws.

C. King William should have ended the Dominion of New England.

D. the king had violated their rights and had lost the right to rule them.

    Its between A and D but i think that D is more true because they believed that the king did violate there rights (this is once they wanted to be a nation not a colony) but they at first before they wanted to be free, they wanted to have a member in Parliament. So yeah. Good luck
