The Greek Golden Age started to come to an end. After this the Spartans were now in power but the long war drained Sparta of its manpower and later they defeated at Leuctra by the Thebans led by Epaminondas. Thebes was later conquered by the Macedonians under Philip of Macedon and later the whole fell under the power of Alexander the Great.
