Why was the U. S. involvement in Korea considered a Police Action instead of a War?

    Come with choices? When we decided to join the Korean war it was later in the war like most of the wars we have been in, It was mainly us keeping the North and South off of each other. But if it comes with choices i can give you a more direct answer.
