Why would a fountain pen be a special friend to someone like Anne Frank?

    Because at the time she probably wanted a fountain pen really bad and also to make a new friend quote from the book "I, Anne Frank, the proud owner of a fountain pen! ... And now - Does anybody know what fountain penAnne might possibly ... Just too many choices, unless someone has a particular insight ... She speaks of the fountain pen, as a close friend ... perhaps they actually have the pen, or a pen like it, over there.
