In what way did industrialization affect the working class?

They improved their standard of living.

They fell far below other classes.

They became more successful.

They were absorbed into the middle class.

    1st and 4th answers both have merit, but because it would be a generalization to say ALL working class people were absorbed into the middle class the only viable answer is that they "improved their standard of living."
