In ratifying the new Constitution, there was quite a debate over the Bill of Rights. The Anti-Federalists were Pro-Bill of Rights. Why?

A. They felt it was important to have citizen's rights explicitly stated.

B. They felt it was important to copy England.

C. They felt that the new Constitution already provided sufficient protection to citizens.

D. They felt that government could never be corrupt.

    The question is basically asking why the Anti-Federalist supported the Bill of Rights.

    D does not make sense

    C says they dont need the bill of rights

    B is not true (why would they want to copy England)
