Compare and contrast Apartheid with the way African Americans were treated in the United States even after slavery was abolished.

    They were very similar insofar that they both dealt with segregation. Although slavery was abolished and people were equal now, segregation was still a thing and people did not want to mix with other races. Apartheid did this in South Africa, while the same occurred with African-Americans in the US.
