Buddhism does have certain major differences with most other religions. Buddhism does not force its followers to not follow any other religion. The buddhist people can follow any other religion they think fit. Also this is the religion that gives its followers the choice to select the depth of practice. The followers of Buddhism are never bound by rules to chant mantra regularly and so they are free to choose day and time of reciting mantras. The Buddhist monks can easily marry and have children and then later come back to fulfill their vows without any restrictions.
