    Internal problems that weakened the Roman Empire was the separate empires. There was a Eastern and Western Roman Empire, which caused different attention. The emperor could not run both at the same time without favoring one. The western collapsed because there was more focus on the Eastern. The government was weak, too.

    They owed money education cost a lot of money and they didn't go to war for 20or30 years so money wasn't coming in
