    British colony of Jamestown was seen by the British as their most immediately successful colony due to a rich economy based on tobacco and the fact that most of colonies of that time didn't achived it's primary goal. But one correction term "English" should be used because in that time it was formaly united kingdom of England and Scotland term "United Kingdom of Great Britian" was coined in 18 c.
