Why were white southerners angry and frustrated about spain holding most of florida

    They were not necessarily angry at Spain for holding most of Florida. They were angry at Spain, don't get me wrong. Although, they were angry at Spain because of how it did not control its territory. Seminole Indians were coming up out of Florida and raiding and harassing many of the southerners homes and farms. They were angry at Spain because she wouldn't do anything about it.
