What was the boston tea party? why did it happen? what did parliament do as a reaction

    The Boston Tea Party was when "The Sons of Liberty" threw 342 chests of tea overboard into the harbor. Parliament passed a series of laws called the intolerable acts to punish them. Intolerable Acts was when no imports or exports were allowed in orr out too the colonies.
