Why did some of the delegates object to the Virginia Plan?

    Well there were two plans that people had come up with. One was the New Jersey plan which looked out for some of the needs of the smaller states, they agreed on having 3 branches of government but, the small states didn't want a president because they thought he would be too much like a king
