When Adolf Hitler came to power, he explained how the Jews were the "stab in the back" and so everyone at first discriminated against Jews. Soon, they enforced every Jew to have the Star of David stitched on to there clothing so that they could identify them. The also have a small identification book (the size of a passport) so that when a German officer asked them to see their book, if they had a J or Jude, they were taken away and were never seen again.
