Do you think the Assyrians' almost exclusive reliance on military power was a good strategy for creating their empire? Why or why not?

Well, in the beginning it was good for them because it enabled them to become an important military power that could expand and gain a foothold in their area. This enabled the flourishing of the Assyrian civilization.

However, every civilization should keep an eye on too many enemies and not being governed in a good way. Both of these factors eventually brought down the eventual decline of this empire.
